Annual meeting of the System Plus Logistic Service GmbH & CO KG
on 18th/19th June 2009

For a transport network like SystemPlus, which has more than 400 partner companies in 22 countries in Europe, the annual meeting is particularly important. For one thing, the strategic direction for the future is decided upon, for another, it is a useful get together for the partner of SystemPlus, who otherwise generally only communicate by email or on the telephone. This year the annual meeting, which took place in DE-Fulda at the end of June, had a full schedule once again.

One item of the agenda was awarding the SystemPlus Quality Awards 2008 for excellent work. The winners are determined on the basis of the performance data, collected each month, with SystemPlus checks that the prescribed quality standards have been adhered to. For the past year, three partner companies were presented with awards. the first prize went to SystemPlus Austria. The director of Quality Management at the Austian partner, Systempo, Klaus Moitzi received the award. Other award were received by Roel Vanmaele (Wim Bosman Group) on behalf of SystemPlus Belgium and Milos Müller (Cechofracht) for SystemPlus Czech Republic.

In the same evening, there was a visit to the European-Central-HUB in DE- Niederaula. Visitors were able to experience the heart of the European SystemPlus traffic in its peak period during the night.

The second day of the meeting was focussed on conceptual work. Having a supervisory council meeting the day before, parallel to the annual meeting , the ordinary shareholder´s meeting  of the System Plus Logistic Service GmbH & Co KG took place. In the two workshops parallel to the shareholder´s meeting the SystemPlus Experts came together to discuss the oprimisation of services and the expansion of the business divisions. The concrete defined suggestions for the development of the European SystemPlus network was presented in a strategy meeting afterwards. The quantity of interesting and inspiring ideas that we collected in these meetings will be focus intensive internal and external communiation in the next weeks and months", summarised Managing Director of SystemPlus Karin Wolf.
